Bosch 18 Piece PointTeq HSS Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 18 Piece PointTeQ HSS Drill Bit Set is a professional grade twist drill bit set designed for fast, accurate drilling in metal and a wide range of other materials. The sets defining feature is the PointTeQ tip design, which self centres on contact to prevent the bit from wandering at the start of a hole. This precision entry point also increases the drilling rate, reducing heat build up and wear during use helping the bits stay sharper for longer and extending overall working life. Each bit is manufactured to DIN 338 standard with a Type N flute angle and 135 degree tip, making them suitable for drilling clearance and pilot holes in alloyed and non alloyed steel, non ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastics. The black oxide coated flute promotes fast chip removal, keeping the cutting action clean and efficient. The cylindrical shank design is compatible with standard three jaw drill chucks and is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers. For smaller diameters below 6mm, the highly elastic body construction significantly reduces the risk of breakage a practical advantage when working with precision pilot holes. The 18 bits are supplied in a ToughBox case, covering diameters from 1mm to 10mm for versatile day to day use on site or in the workshop.
